The Gap Theory is False Teaching (an overview) Part 1

Published by carlpaulino at 11:41 pm under RELIGION Edit This

My argument is based on the fact that: GOD IS THE SAME YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FORVER. HE SAID “I CHANGE NOT”

**** 1.) There is no remnant in what is called “Lucifer’s Flood”. God Always has a remnant. Otherwise, mankind would not be here via
Noah, Israel would not be here, period, and none would be spared in the end time. Christ Himself, even said “And except those days be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.  This “theory” negates that attribute of GOD.

**** 2.) The Bible clearly teaches that sin and death entered the world through AdamSPECIFICALLY (Romans 5:12). This theory, suggesting GOD’s (unrecorded) Judgment, requires that sin and death came into the world BEFORE Adam, which contradicts alot of scripture. Furthermore, the creation account that we see in Genesis 1, where it repeatedly says “and GOD saw that it was good” was built upon death, destruction, and dead men’s bones; hardly what one would call and Edenic Paradise, let alone –good!

**** 3.) There is no redemption, no redemptive plan (Covenant), there is NO BLOOD, and there is no hope. This theory implies that GOD destroyed Mankind, and every living thing without warning and without remedy. HE must have “mellowed out” by the time Noah came around and wickedness was abounding (i.e. saving 8 people and the animals). But if HE did (mellow out), then of course, HE wouldn’t have been the same “yesterday”(during the Pre-Adamite age), which would give us little hope of His being the same today, tomorrow, or forever. He also always provides a way of escape (i.e. redemption);an animal sacrifice (in the garden),  an ark, a lamb, and a Savior because HIS Mercies are everlasting…i.e. eternity past and eternity future. HIS Word is FOREVER settled in Heaven.  This theory negates those attributes of GOD.
